Actually it looks like he won't be directing. He and Fran will just be Executive Producers which, as Michael can probably tell you, doesn't mean as much in feature film-making as it does in television (look who paid attention in his film class!).
you are right. i didn't look close enough. i was just stoked that maybe the production company will be able to do the movie justice. oh yeah, and NJ vs. Pitt. Parise vs. Crosby. Parise is from my alma mater (sp?) so i will go for NJ.
Either way, with them on board it shouldn't suck. Pretty sweet source material after all (not that you'd have the first fart of a clue Brad!). Now to geek-out for a minute...if they show Master Chief's face, ever, even once, at all...it will suck!
that is truly one thing that worries me. i am very wary about who will be cast to play the MC. and i agree, i don't want to see his face. who will be cortana?
I think a big'ol honkin' stunt guy in a suit would be fine for the on screen character, then just get somebody famous with a recognizable voice to "act" the part. Or better still, somebody not as famous but still has a kick-ass voice, somebody like Clancy Brown or something!
