right now i'm in the PSU library beginning a paper for cartoon music.
i just finished eating a slice of pizza from pizzacato (yum), and for desert i picked up a fudge brownie and peanut butter cookie, and a "brambleberry" tazo tea to wash it all down.

Also, I'm listening to the 300 score in iTunes. And trying not to laugh hysterically at how blatantly Tyler Bates ripped off Elliot Goldenthal's score for Titus. Two things, one: I actually like the score overall as a whole (obvious grounds for a lawsuit aside); and two: it's probably not Bates' fault really...sometimes producers and/or directors get so married to the temp track that a composer just can't get around it - unless said composer is John Williams or Jerry Goldsmith.
Hey, I think I've got an idea for a new post finally!
I am about to clock out for work, but I didn't plan ahead on what to eat.
And yes, when directors have heard their temp tracks too much and then listen to what John or Jerry come up with as an original score, they shit themselves.
