alright here's something.
this saturday i am singing in our church's masterwork performance of John Stainer's "Crucifixion".
Last night my dad called with tickets to attend the NCAA Hockey's Frozen Four where my Alma Mater UND Fighting Sioux are pitching a battle and hopefully counting their metaphorical coup. the games are thursday and saturday in Milwuakee, Wis.
Dammit all.
I see the whale, and the waves keep coming. DAMN THIS PEG-LEG!

That is a dilemma! I feel your pain. A band formed by two of the former members of Dispatch is playing in Minneapolis next Thursday. But, alas, I have a virology and a pharmacology exam the next day.
Do you think a concert is a valid reason to drop out of school?
Just kidding. Sort of. :)
Since I grew up south of the Missouri-Iowa border, hockey was outside my sphere of influence (you may have noticed I'm a baseball man).
However, since die Frau grew up North of the Missouri-Iowa border she would probably say GO!!!
How's the Stainer? I've never heard it before.
on monday when i was alerted to the tickets i made the decision that i wouldn't be going.
i joined to help myself brush up on musical technique. which i believe helped to get me in to PSU.
now that i'm in, it would be cheap to turn my back and have God's other foot drop.
that and i can't afford a plane ticket.
Herr - when we began working on the Cruciixion, the director likened it to Gilbert & Sullivan. i am not going to dispute that.
HOCKEY IT IS!!!
